A budget journal spreadsheet can be used when many lines need to be entered. The spreadsheet provides a quick method of entry for all of the required values and simplifies moving from field to field for entry.
As of March 2024, the current version of the Budget Journal Spreadsheet template file is UGA Budget_Journal_form_v9.2.47a, where v9.2.47a is the PeopleSoft Version followed by the last upgrade installed. Prior versions of the UGA Budget Journal spreadsheet still function correctly, and there have been no significant changes to the template in more recent versions.

Use this Budget Journal Spreadsheet uploader for use with both the UGA Financial Management System (PeopleSoft). This is the only file needed to upload a budget journal and it should be saved to a dedicated folder on your computer. Budget journals uploaded using this template will go through the workflow approval process.
