A growing number of units are using Smartsheet to automate business processes, create electronic approval workflow, manage projects, and other functions. To request a Smartsheet license, click below. The cost for a UGA enterprise license (as of 2025) is $1,000/year. This updated pricing includes the new dynamic view add-on. Licenses auto-renew annually in January at the then current price. Only individuals who will be building e-forms and workflows in Smartsheet will need a license, not all users.

Request New License or Transfer a License

When requests are submitted, they will first be routed to your unit’s Chief Business Officer for approval. Upon approval, your request will be routed to UGA’s system administrators for provisioning. Once your license has been provisioned, you will receive an automated email confirming your activation, along with links to helpful resources to get you started.

Billing Process

The University pays Smartsheet for all licenses on UGA’s enterprise plan, and then processes journals to recover the cost.

  • All licenses renew annually in late January, after which UGA will process journals for the full year’s cost.
  • New licensees pay a prorated rate, which is charged to departments via journal quarterly in April, July, and October (not in January, since that’s when the full year charges process).
