OneUSG Connect has completed the first upgrade for March. Please remember to clear your cache!
Georgia Tech will join 25 other USG institutions on March 22 as the final institution that will utilize OneUSG Connect. During the transition, the system must be periodically shut down to allow OneUSG Connect to simultaneously receive upgrades. All UGA faculty, staff and student employees will not be able to login while the upgrades are in process.
When are the scheduled updates?
- Friday, March 13 (6 p.m.) – Wednesday, March 18 (7 a.m.) Completed
- Friday, March 27 (6 p.m.) – Tuesday, March 31 (7 a.m.)
How does this affect me? What do I need to do?
Biweekly employees may need to record time differently during these times (see below and consult your supervisor).
Employees with leave will need to enter requests outside these times.
Supervisors will need to approve time and absences outside of these times.
Summarized List of Employee Impacts:
- OneUSG Connect-Benefits (for benefits enrollment) will remain open, but employees must use the link from the HR website.
- UGAJobs will remain open. Actions will flow into OneUSG Connect once the system is back online.
- Web clock/Pay-from-Schedule/Manual Time Entry employeeswill need to record time manually during these dates.
- Web Clock employeesshould record punches on a paper timesheet. Their managers will need to add the punches to the online timesheet once the system is back online.
- Pay from Schedule/Manual Time Entry employeeswill be able to add hours worked onto their timesheets once the system is back online.
- Kaba time clockswill remain available for regular use (punches will flow into OneUSG Connect once the system is back online).
- Managers, Supervisors and Time Approvers will need to enter employee time recorded via paper timesheets once the system is back online.
- Employee Self-Service: Updates to direct deposit, tax information, addresses, view paystubs, etc. will need to occur around upgrade times.
