Chemical Receiving Update

In June of 2021, we shared changes to the chemical purchasing processes with the goal of providing faster deliveries and better service to faculty and staff. Here are the next steps in the transition.
WHAT ARE NEXT STEPS? Starting February 7, 2022, all chemical purchases will route to Mail and Receiving Services at the Administrative Services warehouse on Atlanta highway rather than the Central Research Stores warehouse on Will Hunter Road. Mail and Receiving staff will receive and complete the Chematix barcoding and redeliver chemicals to campus. This change provides additional resources and equipment for chemical delivery. This change is expected to improve efficiency and overall delivery times.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO? When ordering chemicals in UGAmart, please follow these instructions to select the correct delivery address.
