Overview:
UGA’s OneSource Project is in the planning phase of the project. As part of this phase, there are initial planning and preliminary discovery activities occurring regarding UGA Purchasing. These activities are focused particularly on how UGAmart is currently used at UGA and how it will be integrated with the new PeopleSoft Financial System.
As part of these activities, there will be a public forum for the UGA campus community to hear recommendations for using UGAmart in conjunction with PeopleSoft 9.2 and provide feedback on these recommendations.
Key Activities:
The Purchasing Team has been created. Currently, the team includes 10 representatives from various UGA departments and campuses.
The Purchasing team along with subject matter experts (Procurement, Accounts Payable, Mail & Receiving Services, Accounting, and others) are engaged in this process through discovery sessions, and white boarding sessions (visual documentation of processes), all leading up to a decision on how UGAmart will be integrated with PeopleSoft.

The UGA community is invited to UGA’s OneSource Purchasing Forum to hear recommendations for using UGAmart in conjunction with PeopleSoft 9.2 and provide feedback on these recommendations. The forum is open to all UGA employees and we encourage you to invite others in your unit that may wish to participate.
Today UGAmart, a third-party purchasing solution, is widely used by faculty and staff for online catalog shopping and requisitioning. UGA’s OneSource Purchasing Team, representing a variety of UGA departments with diverse purchasing needs, is working to recommend and propose how UGAmart and PeopleSoft 9.2 can be used to meet the University’s purchasing requirements beginning July 1, 2018. The team’s proposal will be presented at this forum in order to solicit your ideas and response to their recommendation.
