New Project Status Report Now Available
Sunday, March 3, 2019
- New Report Available: A new Project Status Report, designed specifically for faculty, is now available. The
report can be found here; a user guide is saved here. The login steps are outlined with screenshots in the user guide. If desired, this
report will automatically email your project balances to you at regular increments
of your choosing. A few screenshots are also included below my signature to give you
a sense of the look and feel. The report design was informed and vetted through multiple
sessions with a faculty advisory committee.
- Easier Access: In the past, access request forms were required to view the available grants reporting
tools. To provide easier access and reduce bureaucracy, access to these reporting
tools will now be automatically available for all PIs, Co-PIs and Co-Investigators with
active projects.
- Information on Additional Reporting Tools:Additional reporting tools are available in the OneSource training library under viewing project budget balances.
- In-Person Support:Over the past six months, the Sponsored Projects Administration and OneSource Grants
teams have been traveling to meet with groups in schools, colleges and units across
the institution to provide in-person support, including demonstrating the use of reporting
tools. These are also opportunities to seek your feedback. Most frequently, these
are 2-hour interactive sessions conducted on site in your facilities. These sessions
will continue, and we want to ensure that everyone has access, so if you would like
to join one of these sessions, please contact your associate dean for research or
director.
The OneSource team continues to develop, improve and refine reporting tools. Your feedback is helpful to us as we do this. It is our hope that these resources will provide you with the information you need, when you need it. The OneSource Service Desk and Sponsored Projects Administration teams stand ready assist with any questions or concerns. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you need assistance.
