“Tim Welsh just completed a large (165 page book) lay-out and design catalogue for the Hargrett Rare Book Gallery Exhibition on Coral Reefs (January — June, 2024). His work produced a gorgeous full-color brochure that is so beautiful that Follett’s Bookstore procured an ISBN Number for it and decided to sell it through its bookstores and through Amazon, Inc. Tim’s complete fluency in publishing trade-craft and image processing makes him a Master Craftsman. It is employees like him who assure UGA’s status as a world-class institution of higher learning. Tim produced this masterpiece while working under both time and financial constraints. By knowing his craft, he was able to save money without cutting quality. His layout of the manuscript includes hundreds of vivid color images.
