- All USG institutions will move to Workday as the next financials and human capital management (HCM) system.
- A unified Student Information System will be selected at a future date.
- The go-live target dates for HCM and Finance are scheduled for July of 2028. In Fall 2025, the decision was made to transition the go-live date for HCM to July 2028 (previously January 2028).
- USG has announced Deloitte as the implementation partner.
- UGA has created a project website for UGA specific information here. The project is still known as the Unified ERP but may have a name change upcoming.

- The project will enhance the experience for students, faculty, and staff, streamline core business processes, and unify our technology into a single Software as a Service (SaaS) solution.
- UGA has implemented a change freeze effective January 1, 2026 for systems that directly integrate with either UGA Financials or OneUSG Connect.
- The project has transitioned into the Implementation – Architect and Configure Phase for 2026.
- UGA has identified more than 60 individuals across over 80 roles to serve on the USG Project Team.
- UGA is moving forward with the implementation of Change Network as shared in Fall 2025. Major Units have identified Project Coordinators and Change Champions will be identified in Spring 2026.
- UGA units are identifying the integrated systems across the institution and system owners will be asked to create specific transition plans for each system to ensure a smooth transition.
