Tip #2: OneSource – Financials: Service Desk
The OneSource Financials Service Desk will be unavailable for phone calls on Friday, January 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a team building activity. Please remember you can always submit a Service Desk Ticket to onesource@uga.edu for assistance!
Tip #3: Finance – Procurement: Pcard Manual Updates [WSC]
An email was sent to the Pcard listserv on January 16 regarding updates to the Pcard Manual that pertains to Reconcilers as well as Facilitators. Additional information can be found on the OneSource News page.
Tip #4: OneUSG Connect – System Unavailability
OneUSG Connect will be unavailable to all University System of Georgia employees from Friday, January 24 at 5 p.m. until Saturday, January 25 at 7 a.m. During this time, Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service will not be available. Kaba time clocks will remain available for regular use. OneUSG Connect-Benefits, Data Warehouse Reporting and UGAJobs will remain available.
In addition, this OneUSG Connect scheduled maintenance will precede the UGA EITS network maintenance that will cause outages of campus Internet access and campus information systems on January 25 starting at 6 a.m., effectively limiting access to OneUSG Connect and other systems. Kaba time clocks will remain available but may report being “off-line.”
Tip #5: OneUSG Connect – GA Tech Go-Live: March 2020[WSC]
GA Tech is the final institution that will join OneUSG Connect with the other 25 USG institutions on March 22.During the transition, the system must be periodically shut down to allow OneUSG Connect to also be upgraded. All UGA faculty, staff and student employees will not be able to login to OneUSG Connect while the upgrades are in process.
The downtimes will be Friday, March 13 at 6 p.m. through Wednesday, March 18 at 7 a.m. and Friday, March 27 at 6 p.m. through Tuesday, March 31 at 7 a.m. During the downtimes, biweekly employees will need to record time manually, employees with leave will need to enter requests outside these times and supervisors will need to approve time and absences outside of these times. Tip #6: OneUSG Connect – Compensation: FY20 Staff Pay Bands Updated [WSC]
The Fiscal Year 2020 (FY20) Staff Pay Bands have been revised to reflect the new FLSA exempt salary threshold of $35,568 effective January 1, 2020. The minimum, midpoint and maximum salaries for impacted pay bands were adjusted. Please reference the UGA FY20 Classified Staff Pay Ranges document for FY20.
Tip #7: OneUSG Connect – Payroll: 2019 W-2’s [WSC]
2019 W-2’s are available as of January 14 for all employees in Employee Self Service. Please ensure that your web browser is set to allow pop-ups in order to retrieve your W-2 online. Those who did not consent for electronic delivery will also receive a copy to their home address by January 31st .
Although the USG W-2 does not have a reconciliation section, an employee can calculate Federal Taxable Wages in Box 1 by reviewing the last paystub for 2019.Federal Taxable Gross is the Total Gross Pay, plus the Taxable Fringe, less the Before-Tax Deductions (find each amount on last paystub of 2019).
W-2’s for any terminated employee will be mailed to the home address listed in OneUSG Connect. Electronic W-2’s will not be available through OneUSG Connect after an employee has been terminated. If the employee does not receive W-2 by January 31, 2020 the terminated employee should call OneUSG Support at 706-542-0202 (option 1) for verification purposes and further assistance. If needed, for individuals overseas, the terminated employee should email oneusgsupport@uga.edu to set an appointment with a OneUSG Connect Support representative outside of normal business hours. More information on W-2's can be found on the Payroll website.

Pay Group Error in Job Data |

Periodically when a row is being added to Job Data via manual data entry or auto-update through MSS transaction, the pay group is being changed in Job Data to an incorrect pay group for the position. |
Go into Job Data and correct the pay group in Job Data using Correct History/Correction Mode. |
